Oppo, the Chinese mobile device manufacturer who has quite a name in making slim handsets is alleged to bring its new flagship R7 which is likely to be the slimmest of all featuring an edge-to-edge display. That is, it won’t have any bezels on either sides of its screen. But making a bezel-less phone has its own drawbacks. Though it looks totally beautiful, it weakens the phone’s design, making it more prone damages. Nevertheless, when combined with a slim metallic body, it looks absolutely stunning and probably better than iPhone 6 and Samsung S6 edge. Reports claim that the R7 will have 4.7 inch screen which is bit suspicious to believe as its predecessor R5 had a 5.2 inch. So does the company seriously want to reduce its screen size for its upcoming flagship device while other tech giants like Samsung, Google and Apple are moving into the ‘phablet’ zone? Moreover, if you pay a slight attention to the above leaked pictures, you will notice that the 20.7 MP camera module does not bulge out but rather it seems engraved in the plane of the back panel. We do not currently have any detailed information on how Oppo managed to do so. Furnished with three capacitive touch buttons right under the device’s screen, the R7 boasts an aesthetic look and also resembles to the iPhone 6 greatly in the ‘design’ aspect. Though Oppo didn’t reveal when the device will be officially launched, we can’t be sure of the pictures provided above. It could actually be the real deal or just an artist’s imagination on the Oppo R7.
