Apple Watch which is soon to hit markets will not just have all the basic functionalities of a smart watch but will also have the fashion and status factor with it. Apple made supermodels parade the Paris Fashion Week with the Watch around their wrists. This clearly shows that the watch means a status symbol and something that makes a person stand out. There would be three editions of Apple Watch, each designed for a specific purpose. The Sports edition for players and fitness freaks would cost around $300-$500, the Stainless steel edition for regular daily users will cost close to $1000 and finally for the luxurious lot, an 18-carat gold edition of the watch will cost somewhere around $20,000. The venture of Apple into this new unexplored space has come only after Google's Android had established itself in the smart wear market. This shows that the Cupertino based company is careful in its move and is thinking twice before taking a leap. They have done that with smartphones and were hugely successful. Apple comes out with a product only when it is confident and only when it believes that the product cannot be replaced easily. The simplicity, innovation and luxury that Apple products deliver is responsible for holding together the huge loyal fan base for the company. With more innovations to follow, the base is expected to grow only bigger. An official confirmation on the price of the watch is yet to be released by Apple. The announcement is expected to come soon.
