Say bye-bye to the longest running scourge with this episode!
Oliver Queen’s flashback wig!
Ok, now onto the episode! Not as good as the first one, but again the first one was one of its kind! The episode opens with another fight scene between Team Arrow and a group of machine-gun wielding thugs, employees of Damien Darhk.
Back home, Oliver and Thea are hosting Jessica Danforth and her daughter Madison, old family friends. Jessica wants to run for mayor, and Oliver and Thea warn her off of it, but she’s determined to follow Green Arrow’s lead in taking back the city.
Thea seemed to be getting aggressive day by day owing to the after effects of Lazarus Pit. And, finally Laurel too knows about the Lazarus Pit, and thinks about what if………. will be covered later.
Flashback: Oliver kills an armed man on Lian Yu who is interrogating him. He takes his bag and opens a laptop, sending messages to Waller and getting cryptic messages in response. Oliver is led into a shelter where the leader of the armed men recognizes him and says that while he won’t send him home, he has no reason to kill him. He suggests that since Oliver has survived here so long on his own, he clearly has value. He offers Oliver the job of the man who just died.
Present: Jessica Danforth is attacked by Machin, but his attempts are foiled by Oliver. So, he abducts her daughter! Apparently, it seems Machin was working to impress Darhk, but his antiques have angered Darhk, who asks Machin to clear up his mess and leave the city.
While saving Madison, Both Oliver and Thea are zapped by Machin and before he could do anything else, the Lazarus Pit rage takes over Thea, and she ends up almost burning Machin.
Finally, Felicity, the new CEO lies to the board that she has game changing tech in process, in order to hire the people she fired. The episode ends with Laurel taking Sara’s body to Nanda Parbat, and Oliver declaring that he will run for Mayor!
