***Statuatory Warning: THIS ARTICLE “MAY” CONTAIN SPOILERS***
Last week we saw a plethora of leaks, including the Batman Vs. Superman and Fantastic 4 trailers. Besides that, what we also got was an alleged leak of a post credit scene/ after credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The highest grossing comic book movie of all time, with its release dates set this week, a lot has been going on for this franchise. Even though Joss Whedon claimed that the lack of a post-credits scene was down to an inability to top the shawarma epilogue at the end of the first Avengers film. “We all came at it separately – we don’t want to chase that,” he said to Entertainment Weekly earlier this month. “That was a jewel and a weird little quirk.”
But Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, clarified that there would be a tag (a short scene that arrives after the credits start) but nothing after the end.
The scene is in calibration with the current announcement of Spider-Man finally joining the Avengers movie universe for one of the movies. But so far they have not yet finalized as to who will be playing the role of Spidey in it. Hence the speculation afloat that this leaked scene could also be a fake. The additional factor that the scene has not been taken off the internet supports the fake theroy *you never know how far fans can go to create a hoax*. But personally, it would be a real sweet deal if this is how the post credit scene is going to be.
The scene, with Spanish subtitles, features a window cleaner, with Avengers Tower in the background, as he interacts with Spider-Man. Spidey quips that he’s missed a spot, the person cleans the window again and you see Spider-Man swing away and then that’s about it. It was initially reported on Comic Book Movie.
The movie is highly anticipated and such details just increase the excitement. You need to watch to know if all this works out and makes peace with the nerd in you. The movie is set to release in India on 24th April.
