After the ground breaking success of the previous edition in the Fast and the Furious Series, Furious 7, which had also seen the apparent end of the character of Paul Walker ( Brian O’Conner ) and Jordana Brewster ( Mia ), Vin Diesel a.k.a Dominic Toretto in the film has confirmed at Universal’s CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas on Thursday, that Furious 8 will hit the theaters on April 14, 2017.

It was on the same stage at Caesars Palace, Diesel and Paul Walker, the actor who died in a 2013 car crash, had confirmed that they were planning to move forward on a seventh film in the action franchise.
