According to a report today from The Information, the team behind Google's futuristic glasses is working on not one but three different next-gen prototypes, one of which works solely on audio. The division, branded as Project Aura back in June, is now working under Nest Labs CEO Tony Fadell alongside famed designer Ivy Ross. So a pair of glasses without glasses which are rely on audio? Sounds like some sort of Bluetooth headset to us. Moreover, Google has been on a hiring spree when Amazon dumped some of its sound engineers back in August! According to the report, Google is targeting the sporty crowd with the headsets (for the lack of a better word) and also has a Glass 2 in the works for the enterprise audience. The exact details are a bit sketchy and the device(s) are scheduled to make an appearance sometime next year.
