At a media event in New Delhi on Tuesday, Google India, in association with LG and Huawei launched the much awaited Nexus 5x and Nexus 6p devices. The latest Nexii run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sport premium design complemented by some over the top features of Marshmallow and quite a few interesting apps . Speaking at the launch David Shapiro (Global Director - Chrome and Android Marketing, Google) said "India is now the fastest growing smartphone market in the world and its exciting to launch our newest nexus phones here. We are looking forward to the nexus 5x and 6p, delivering premium experiences for Indian users, demonstrating what is possible when innovative hardware, thoughtful design and the latest android software all come together." Both the phones are carrier unlocked which means that you can use them with your favorite cellular network. The Nexus 5X has been manufactured by LG and comes with a 5.2" 1080p screen and is powered by Snapdragon 808 SoC. It rocks a 12.3 MP back camera and 5MP front snapper and has 2GB DDR4 RAM. This is the third Nexus device by Google in association with LG. The Nexus 6p has been manufactured by Huawei and is a full metal unibody phone with a 5.7 inch display and a massive 3450 mAh battery. Both the phones also support the superfast USB type C port. Powered by Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC it sports the same rear facing camera as that of 5x but an 8MP front facing one. This phone is the first association between Huawei and Google. Both the phones are available both online and offline in over 3000 stores all over the country.
