We have already discussed that HTC revealing a shiny phone 'HTC One M9' at MWC, but HTC is also going to give a surprise for their fans by launching the first 'HTC Smartwatch'. As per Bloomberg and Pocket-lint's sources, HTC will reveal its first ever smartwatch at its event in Barcelona, entering the league of premium smartwatches like LG G Watch R, Sony Smartwatch 3, Moto 360 and Samsung Gear 2. The watch will feature integration with Under Armour's fitness service, building on a partnership between two companies announced earlier this month. Earlier in the month, the sports clothing maker announced a partnership with HTC as it launched its UA Record app. Under Armour's existing UA Record app lets fitness fans complete the challenges, track their stats and keep tabs on their friends, and it is compatible with an bunch of fitness trackers including those from Withings, Garmin and Jawbone. It's not too much of a stretch then, to expect HTC's timepiece to join the list of compatible devices. According to the Pocketlint's sources HTC will be providing its own integrated hardware. Little else is known about the smartwatch itself, and it is not confirm that whether it will run on the Android Wear platform.
