iCloud Storage Prices now start at $0.99/month for 50GB space
At its "Hey Siri" event earlier today, not only did Apple announce a plethora of new devices, it also halved the existing iCloud Storage prices getting into the league with Drive, Dropbox et al.
The 20GB plan that earlier costed $0.99/month, Apple has bumped up the storage to 50GB for the same price. The 200GB tier costs $2.99 a month and 1TB of storage will set you back $9.99 a month. These two options previously cost $3.99 and $19.99
Google Drive in contrast costs $1.99/month for 100GB of additional storage after the first free 15 gigs. iCloud on the other hand offers only 5GB free storage space for starters!
