During the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015), BlackBerry’s CEO John Chen teased about an upcoming handset from its Porsche series dubbed as ‘Keian’ or officially to be named as Porsche series P’9984. The device shares similar edgy square shaped design like its predecessors including P’9983. Named in the honor of Keian Blundell, it is assumed to be based on the BlackBerry Passport. The images shown below are recently leaked online and reported first by BlackBerry central. It looks a bit similar to the Passport, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard below the alleged 4.5 inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels. It will also sport a 13 MP and 2 MP rear and front cameras respectively and will supposedly run on BB 10.3.2 OS. Though the cost and the launch date isn't officially announced by the company but the device is likely to be unveiled by the end of this year, maybe around September 2015. Just like the other models in the same series, the device is expected to cost as much as $2000, according to a report made by BlackBerry central. That is around Rs 1.27 lakhs in the Indian currency. Due to lack of sufficient information about the ‘Keian’, we are not tagging these as the concrete details about the device. Whatever the case might be, the ‘Keian’ will definitely be an expensive device and that’ll be known in the upcoming months.
