If you have procrastinated buying a new laptop or are in the market looking for a new laptop to replace your old one, you are in luck. Why? That is because Intel has released its 5th Generation of processors which were codenamed 'Broadwell'. Now how does that affect a consumer like you and me? Well, how does 24 percent better graphics performance, up to 50 percent faster video conversion and of course a battery life 1.5 hours longer sound ? Yes. Intel has promised that all this can be reality with their new 5th Generation Processors. The main difference between the 5th generation and the 4th generation is that it utilizes Intel's new 14nm process technology which has 35 percent more transistors on a 37 percent smaller die. Intel has stated that 5th Gen processors are purpose-built for new generation of computer devices offering a thin, light and more efficient experience across traditional notebooks, 2 in 1 s, Ultrabook devices, Chromebooks, All-In-One desktop PCs and mini PCs. These Cores when paired with Intel RealSense 3D Technology enables more natural and interactive user experience. Intel RealSense 3D technology brings features like gesture control, 3D capture and edit, and innovative photo and video capabilities to devices. Devices having Intel 5th Gen Core can also make use of the built-in Voice Assistant which is now more natural and includes six languages (four more to be added). These devices will also be able to have a "no wires" experience with Intel WirelessDisplay (WiDi) which allows user to seamlessly connect with HDTV or projector without the hassle of wires. If you have already bought a laptop, well, tough luck, you can always sell it off you know!
