Apple is all set to release iOS 9 on 16th September 2015, ie today! While some places may get the update today itself, some will be getting it late tonight or early next morning! We have complied a list of iOS 9 release date / time in your local time zones. Apple announced iOS 9 back at WWDC 2015 earlier this summer. At the iconic Hey Siri event last week, Apple introduced new iPhones and the iPad Pro and set a release date for iOS 9. iOS 9 brings a lot of changes to the table. While the interface is still the same as iOS 7, iOS 9 now has the much-needed features like a new Power Saver Mode, transit info in maps, proactive (read more deeply integrated) Siri to name a few. Before upgrading to iOS 9, make sure to have a backup of your device on iCloud or your computer and update all your apps beforehand! To find out which apps are eating all of your precious storage go to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage. Now is a good time to delete all those apps you never use. Not only will this free up space, you will also get some breathing room if you happen to have a 16GB iPhone. PS: iOS 9 also has Taco and Burito emojis and the omniscient middle finger!
