
Lenovo K80 with 4GB of RAM to take on Asus Zenfone 2
Lenovo has launched a new handset dubbed K80 with 4GB of RAM to take on the Asus Zenfone 2.
The Chinese company, after launching the Lenovo A5000 in Russia, has now come up with this multitasking beast priced at 1,799 CNY (approximately Rs. 18,500).
The Lenovo K80 is launched to compete with Asus Zenfone 2 - the first smartphone in the world with a 4GB RAM.
The Lenovo K80 sports a 5.5 inch full-HD display and is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. The internal memory is 64GB and the phone also packs a beefy 4000 mAh battery.
A 13-megapixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization is available for quick capturing of high quality pictures. Though a front camera is present, there is no official information on it from the company.
The phone which is 8.5 mm thick and runs on the latest version of Android Lollipop 5.0 with Lenovo Vibe UI, will be available in three color variants - black, silver and red.
Lenovo also plans to release a 2GB model of the phone with 32GB internal memory to be priced at 1,499 CNY (approximately Rs. 15,300). The availability of the phones, however, is limited to China, as of now.
