Like the infamous Xiaomi, Meizu is also a similar major Chinese mobile firm, big and respected for what it makes. It does have some high-end mobile phones in its line-ups including its M1 Note which is expected to be launched with Meizu's debut in the Indian mobile market. Meizu India is now also on Facebook, and is up and running. It has already started its M1 note giveaways to the new Indian users. The winner will be declared on 21st March. So the first device offered by Meizu is its M1 note, which features a 5.5 inch IGZO touchscreen display with 1080p resolution, having an impressive pixel density of 403ppi. Under the hood, it boasts an Octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7Ghz along with 2 GB of RAM. The device is powered by a 3140 mAh battery and comes in 16 and 32 GB variants. No external microSD is supported. The M1 Note also has a remarkably good 13 MP rear-camera and a 5 MP front. Dual Led and capable of 30 shots per second. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3. The M1 Note has a Flyme 4.0 skin pinned to its Android 4.4 OS and yes, it supports dual-SIM. The cost of M1 Note is $160, which is around Rs 10,000 in India. it is not that high but rather perfect for such a device. It has a huge potential to bring down other Chinese tech-giants like Lenovo and Xiaomi in India. We have to accept that the M1 Note looks visually very appealing and classy, with the small circular-iPhone-like button in the bottom-center. People are already pretty excited for the new M1 note, but they are even more eager to try Meizu because it has quite a reputation back in China and what's more? The price tag of Rs 10,000 is very tempting too. The lack of an expandable storage might cause a bit of a disappointment, but on the whole, it's a decent handset with amazing looks and specs.
