In a special press event at New Delhi today, Micromax launched the next smartphone in it's immensely popular Yu lineup, the Yu Yuphoria. Dubbed as a Miracle in Metal, the Yu Yuphoria sports a 64-bit Snapdragon 401 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A53 processor under the hood, paired with 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The GPU is the new Adreno 306. (More on this later) This makes it a snappy smartphone. With 4G LTE support, Micromax is aiming at the mid ranged phones that include the newly launched Mi4i and the Zenfone 2. The phone runs on CyanogenMod 12 based on the Android Lollipop. The device boasts of a 2330 mAh battery which is quite underrated though it charges up to 60% in just 45 minutes. (We will update with exact stats once we get our hands on the device) Coming to the price, the Yu Yuphoria is priced damn aggressively at just 6999 INR. But this was expected as the company has done cost cutting in almost every aspect of the phone for just putting some metal.
