Motorola’s exclusive retail partner in India, Flipkart, has announced that the 32GB variant of the Moto X 2nd gen will go on sale in the country on December 22nd. The online retailer hasn't reveal the price of the device, but it’s likely to be around Rs 34,999. The 16GB version of Moto X (2nd Gen) went on sale in the country in September this year and can be grabbed from Rs 31,999 for the Black version with plastic back or Rs 33,999 for the Bamboo White or Black Leather variants. On the specifications front, the Moto X comes with a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM. The flagship smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, and 4K video recording capabilities, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, front-facing stereo speakers, and a 2,300 mAh battery. On the software front, the smart phone was launched running on Android KitKat, but has since been upgraded to Android Lollipop. The second-generation Moto X sports hardware specifications comparable to high-end flagship phones like the HTC One (M8) and LG G3. It comes with a more premium form factor including a metal frame.
