ePaisa, has come up with a new facility, a multilingual mobile based point of sale (PoS) application, available for customers of New India co-operative Bank. This service has been started in accordance with the merchants holding an account with the particular bank. Now there will be no further complications in accepting card payments. They will be able use the built-in billing application without incurring any additional cost. Mobile based card acceptance will specifically benefit the merchants for home delivery services as with the restaurants and a lot in the hotel business. Taxi drivers or radio cabs will also be available to accept card payments on their particular smart phones and other mobile devices with no additional investment according to ePaisa. The Point of Sale (PoS) will allow the already registered merchants to use the new app for specific purposes like registering cash and card processing terminal along with paying the bills, buying a ticket and never to mention mobile recharges to run a trustworthy scheme. The ePaisa POS can be operated on any iOS or Android phone and on tablets. Certainly the company aims to cater to SMEs who currently can't accept any kind of card payments and to established POS service providers who are willing to invest into large equipment.
