Microsoft has launched a preview of Office 2016 for all the current Office 365, Windows users. The preview of the upgraded version of Microsoft Office is out for testing and further improvements in front of IT professionals and developers across the globe. Microsoft has not unveiled the prime features of Office 2016 with its preview, the full version of the software will be available later this year. The current Office 365 customers will receive monthly updates of Office 2016. Along with new MS Office, Microsoft also launched technical preview of Skype for Business. As the name says, the company is aiming at providing services of Skype to enterprises with changes and enhancements in regular Skype architecture. Skype for business will replace Microsoft Lync, which is currently the solution provided by Microsoft for communication in business enterprises launched in 2011. The Skype for Business service is also built into Office, hence the features of Skype are now a part of Office experience. The final version of Skype for Business will be available in April 2015. Regular upgradation and improvements by Microsoft in its office suite has made it the best office suite in the market for individuals as well as enterprises. Yes, there are alternatives like LibreOffice, Kingsoft and Apache Office but they are still minnows in terms of number of regular users in front of MS Office. Office 2016 before Windows 10 gives a hint that Microsoft might be planning to give users a whole new digital environment experience.
