Perhaps the best smartwatch on the planet, Pebble, is now planning to expand its sales to European countries. The latest app update boasts of three new language options including French, German and Spanish. The indie smartwatch manufacturer has been ruling this category ever since its inception. The compnay added support for over 90 languages last month. Accorcing to Pebble, its multi-lingual updates will “pave the way for more languages to come in the future, as Pebble steadily lands in more countries around the world”. Pebble owners can change the language inside the settings menu of their iOS and Android apps. There’s no word on which other languages will come next and when they will land. An internal developer document suggests that the company may soon add Chinese to its list of supported languages. The expansion is an aim to strengthen its stronghold on the category just before the launch of the much anticipated Apple Watch. Pebble is availible for just $199 for the steel version and ships worldwide. Pebble also has plans to open several offline stores once the smartwatch is localized in these languages.
