Samsung has had a rough start to this new year. Their Galaxy series flagships, the S6 and the S6 Edge have been doing well in sales but the company's profits are at an all time low. The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus have taken the market by a storm. To cope up, Samsung is now rumored to launch a beefed up version of the S6 Edge, dubbed as the Galaxy S6 Plus. No, seriously. We aren't making this up. The S6, beyond doubt, is a very nice phone but has been criticized by bloggers and users alike for copying the design of the iPhone 6. Samsung did claim that it went back to the drawing board to create S6, but to be truthful, it looks like the lovechild of the Nexus 4 and the iPhone 6. The alleged "Galaxy S6 Plus" name was attributed to reliable sources by Italian website HDblog.it on Tuesday. It's expected that the larger smart phone will be a larger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, which features a curved display on its left and right edges. The device will sport the same Super AMOLED screen as found on its siblings but will offer a greater screen size, around 5.4"-5.5". The iPhone 6 on the other hand, sports a 4.7" display while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5" display. If rumors are true and Samsung does launch a "Galaxy S6 Plus", all it will attract is more criticism and maybe the attention of Apple's legal team.
