Samsung is all set to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in India on March 23. Samsung has already sent out media invites for the event to take place in New Delhi on Monday. The Galaxy S6 is expected to be priced between Rs 49,990 and Rs 54,999 while the Galaxy S6 Edge will be priced between Rs 64,990 and Rs 69,999. Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge sport a similar specifications panel apart from the battery and a slight difference in dimensions and the acclaimed Dual Edge display. The S6 is powered by a 2,550 mAh battery while the S6 Edge has a 2,600 mAh battery. Both comes with built-in wireless charging WPC1.1(4.6W Output) & PMA 1.0(4.2W) compatible. Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge both feature a 5.1-inch Quad HD (1440x2560 pixels) Super Amoled display with a pixel density of 577ppi. Both devices (S6 and S6 Edge) runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and are packed with Samsung’s Exynos 7 Octa-core processor which contain two quad-core processor clocked at 2.1 GHz and 1.5GHz respectively. The smartphones have 3GB RAM. On the connectivity front, the devices offer Bluetooth v4.1, WiFi: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), Dual-band, HT80 MIMO(2×2) 620Mbps, Mobile hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, A2DP, LE, apt-X, ANT+, USB 2.0, and IR Remote.
