Police in the city are putting extra security measures where the blast took place (Central Bengaluru), basically in the area where people will traditionally celebrate New Year's Eve. Police have already changed the earlier announced closing timings for bars and restaurants from 2 am to 1 am at night of New year's Eve. This is the area where blast actually took place on 28th of December. 31st December is the major occasion for the people of Bengaluru as people gather in large groups on various places. "Due to the blast there is a certain sight of shadow on the celebrations which is to be held on 31st December. Keeping all the reasons on mind we are putting extra security measures", said the city's Police Commissioner, MN Reddi. Mr. MN Reddi also advised to not to worry about anything but beware of the objectionable objects or strange person. There is actually no specific alert, but there is a need a security so the job is done by police and security members. Investigation on blast is going on and is in nascent stage. The man claiming behind the blast have been tweeting the threatening messeges. Police has already spoken to the person and believe that he is not the threat. Mr Reddi said he was not mentally sound. He has been questioned about the tweets but not taken to any custody. He was actually working on the Twitter handle on his own without his family knowing about it.
