The tagline for this year’s WWDC is “the epicenter of change.” Apple says that the attendees will witness the ‘future of iOS and OS X’ which confirms that iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 are underway.
WWDC 2015 features more than 100 technical sessions, over 1,000 Apple engineers, hands-on labs, and the Apple Design Awards.
Developers can apply for tickets to attend WWDC and millions worldwide will be able to watch sessions streamed live. WWDC Scholarships are available to students and members ofparticipating STEM organizations around the world.
The tickets are not first come first serve like past events, the company will let you buy tickets by a lottery system wherein you can buy if you get selected. “Register by Friday, April 17, 10:00 a.m. PDT for your chance to attend. We will let you know your status by Monday, April 20, 5:00 p.m. PDT.“
Apple showcased huge changes to the Music App in the upcoming iOS 8.4. Other expected changes will include more extensions, a wee bit more freedom to app developers. It’s time iOS did open up though I personally prefer the closed ecosystem. The iTunes and Beats Music App may get combined as well.
