Xiomi’s Redmi series has gained popularity given their pricing and the smooth interface. There was a time when Samsung ruled the Indian smart phone market but with the plethora of options available in the sub 10k price range, the Redmi Note Prime will have a tough time surviving.
With the launch of Redmi Note Prime, we are glad to provide our Mi Fans an opportunity to upgrade to an even more powerful smartphone with an expanded memory and dual-SIM capabilities.. Local manufacturing shows Xiaomi's commitment to being a part of fabric of India and we are truly excited to roll out our second 'Made in India' offering for our Mi fans.
After a multitude of teasers, Xiaomi has finally launched the hotly anticipated Redmi Note Prime in India pricing it competitively at Rs. 8499. The Made in India smartphone can be bought exclusively via Amazon. The Redmi Note prime sports a Snapdragon 410 SoC with quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, and has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable internal memory, and is powered by a 3,100mAh battery. The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. What is disappointing is that the Redmi Note Prime runs Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7 which might just be a deciding factor for some.
